Evaluating Intervertebral Foramen Measurements for Patients with Anterior Cervical Disc Surgery in Oblique CT

Objective: It is particularly difficult to determine the level of radiculopathy pain. Because radicular pain usually doesn't fit dermatomal map. unlike foramen lumbar vertebrae, where cervical nerve root exerted, it has a slope approximately 45 degrees vertebrae in axical plane and 10-15 horizontal plane. Due this structure foremen, evaluation conventional ct results incorrect or incomplete diagnosis. In our study, we compared change patients with anterior discectomy cage (fusion) oblique reconstructive preop postop. Methods: CT images were acquired 64 slice system (60–80 mAs, 120 kVp, FC86 reconstruction core 2.0 mm thickness at intervals). Oblique sagittal created OsiriX Lite v. 12.0.1 version measurements performed. For each level, area been measured addition short long axle length neural foramens from pre-op post-op images.Results: 98 intervertebral de preop-postop, axle, field evaluated 43 16/01/2019 03/02/2020, 3 two levels ceral + interbody cage. Right side, respectively; 13,37%, 5,99%, 16,87% increase. Left respectively, increased by 14,27%, 7,11%, 23,20%Conclusion: The cage, which placed on will increase foramen, space allow decompression. This why necessary insert material highest height disk that can be during surgery.
